This is one of the most sincere weddings I have ever witnessed, and I have seen more than my share. The vows, the ceremony, the toasts, the laughter. I think this is what she meant when Audrey Hepburn said “if I get married, I want to be very married.”
PS, the bride’s last name is Ho, in case the groomsmen gift feels strange 🙂
I’ve known these two since they were just kids and always hoped they found someone amazing, who would appreciate how much they bring to the table… then they ended up together. Life is funny that way. There’s no question this is one of the cutest weddings I have ever photographed. So many cute moments, cute people, cute looks, cute stories. That used to be a word I had a good amount of disdain for, especially in regards to my work. After having my own children, I see the value in cute things in a way that is still surprising, like when I describe my work as cute.

Shared joy is one of my favorite aspects of the wedding day. Bride and groom, family members, friends, father daughter dances… sometimes I just sit back and smile throughout the wedding day. Anna and Noah’s wedding is one of the most joy-filled events I’ve seen in my time behind the camera. I’m not one to exaggerate with the “awesome-sauce, amazeballs, in love with love” BS that is rampant in the wedding world. It just so happens to be the honest truth that I walked away with a sense of appreciation for what was about the happiest wedding I’ve ever been a part of. I like to write about what I see, what is memorable, and what is real. Anna and Noah are real, joyful, and in love.
