ABOUT JAY

jay eads photographer
Annie Leibovitz“A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.”

I am a photographer. This is what I do, day in and day out. I photograph what moves me, looking for environments and poses that I find interesting, and fit the personality of my subject. I strive to be ME, giving us the best chance of making you look like YOU. Gaining the trust of my clients is as important as knowing my camera, because I am of the opinion that you rarely take a a good photograph, it’s either given to you, or it’s not. There is an element of mystery and chance to it, and that can be thrilling.

People are what caused me to love photography in the first place. This is why you find my site full of faces, emotions, and moments, not still-life or landscape. Humanity truly fascinates, and never cease to amaze me (for better or for worse). My goal is to use my camera for good. We get a finite number of days in our life, and I want to lift people up with my time here. Photography is my vocational way of doing that. Memories are powerful. As long as there are people, I have source material.

EVERY PHOTOGRAPHER SAYS THEY LOVE WHAT THEY DO – I WANT TO PROVE IT WITH MY IMAGES.

Go do something kind for someone who doesn't expect it.
