I am going to play catch up on my blog for a little bit.  I have some shoots that happened in my blogging hiatus, and now I’d love for them to see the light of day.  First up:

Kendyl is one of my high school reps this year.  I can’t bring myself to call the reps “spokesmodels,” although it seems pretty popular – it just feels a little Star Search for my taste.   I’m ok with rep.  It’s simple and to the point, plus, it gives the high schoolers the opportunity to say “I be reppin‘ it.”  Um, anyway.

Can I just say that this is one of my favorite sessions in a long time?  We had perfect light… the kind of light i dream of.  Yes, I realize I am a serious photo dork if I dream of light.  I’m good with that.  Back to the point – the conditions were great, Kendyl’s good friend Megan came with us (check out her session here), and much fun ensued.  Kendyl is natural in front of the camera, a gift I certainly do not possess.  That ease and  grace really comes through in her images, which has so much more to do with her than me.  This is her rep session, her actual senior session will be posted in the not too distant future.

Kate Monroe - These are absolutely gorgeous! She’s absolutely beautiful. And I’d totally forgotten about Star Search… I greatly disliked that show for some reason – I always preferred America’s Most Wanted. lol.
